About Us

Simon has varied accounting and business experience across both commercial and primary sectors. As a registered member of ATAINZ, Simon is a trusted tax and business advisor and has helped people manage their finances and achieve their goals for over 17 years. He has a strong focus on helping New Zealanders with their business development, budgeting, and taxation, and is passionate about achieving the best possible outcomes for his clients.

Simon is originally from Omakau, where he was raised on a sheep and beef farm before moving to Ōtepoti Dunedin to attain his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Otago. After returning to Omakau, he then owned and operated the farm for six years alongside his father. 

When the farm was sold, he developed and ran a small business for several years. It was during his time as a small business owner that he also began his accounting career. As well as working as a farmer and small business owner, Simon also worked for a few years at ACC and has strong knowledge of ACC levies. 

Outside of work, he enjoys reading science fiction and has been a keen sportsman for many years. He enjoys playing tennis, squash, and cricket and has recently become a new and enthusiastic member of table tennis and lawn bowls.
